Christina Myers is a freelance writer and editor, former journalist, and the author of Halfway Home: Thoughts from Midlife (2024) and The List of Last Chances (2021). She has edited two anthologies, contributed to more than a dozen collections of fiction and non-fiction, and her work has appeared in magazines and newspapers across Canada. Her debut novel was longlisted for the Leacock Medal, and she is the recipient of two Canadian Book Club Awards, in both fiction and memoir.
As a VIPC Guest Curator, Christina brings a thoughtful editorial perspective and deep understanding of the writing life to the conference. Her experience across genres and formats helps shape a program that is both practical and resonant—ensuring sessions reflect the real questions, challenges, and opportunities facing today’s authors.
